Visuals: Almost all the Final Fantasy games have always stunned us with their visuals and FFIV is no exception, the character sprites are well done and the scenary and battlefield is well rendered from the SNES. The enemies are well drawn but lack proportion, (just look at Golbez!) the NPC's are well done and the sprites capture the story quite well. However, most of the scenery is VERY repetitive and a lot of the enemies have simply been recoloured. Apart from that the visuals are pretty good. Story: FF games have always got a long complex storyline and I have to say the FFIV story was one of the best, it was kinda funny and left us to keep playing to know what happens next. The visuals did help and some phrases and things that happen are really hilarious (you spoony bard!) I found some of the story quite weird or unexplained however, such as the fact that Yang survives the explosion on the tower. More coming soon!
